Matt Grandis, b. 1975, grew up on 8-bit video games and classic adventure stories. The Indiana Jones movies and a coffee-table book on ancient civilizations led him to pursue a career in archaeology, his expertise in technology made him a freelance developer.

He has been programming computers since 1983, from the humble beginnings in BASIC on a VIC-20 to full-fledged database driven web applications and 3D video games on current desktop and mobile devices. Descending from a highly musical family, he learned to play several instruments. An introverted and creative child, he made up stories since his earliest years. Today, his ambition is to advance the art of storytelling with a focus on visual and interactive media.
